I usually write the questions and lead the interviews in a conversational way, so as to put the interviewees at ease and for the content to feel more real and honest. Filming in your workplace
Most corporate shoots happen where your people work, whether that's an office on Lambton Quay, a warehouse in Seaview or a site in Porirua. I bring lighting and sound gear to make ordinary rooms look considered, and I keep the footprint small so the rest of the office can carry on.
When people are nervous
Plenty of people I film have never been on camera before. I don't hand anyone a script. We have a conversation, I ask follow-up questions, and the best lines usually come from that.
The best part about working with Ro is how easy he is to work with. He took care of everything: from sitting down and casually interviewing our co-founders, to shooting our team working and collaborating together, to selecting the music and producing the final cut. Can you film at our office?
Yes. Most corporate shoots happen on site. A meeting room, a quiet corner and some natural light are usually all I need to start with.
Can one shoot give us several videos?
Yes. I plan the day so we capture a main film plus shorter clips for social media, your website and internal channels.
