Recruitment video

Help the right people picture themselves in the job.

A good recruitment video shows people what the job is actually like, through the people already doing it. It can also be a scripted video either to-camera or voice over. As every business is different, the video approach can be tailored to match.

What I make

  • Day-in-the-life films
  • Graduate programme videos
  • Staff profile series
  • Careers page content
  • Job ad cut-downs
  • Culture and values films

Honest beats polished

Candidates can spot a staged office from a mile away. I film real staff doing real work and let them talk plainly. Then I cut it down to the things a candidate actually wants to know.

We engaged Ro to do video segments for our graduate recruitment website. It is the first time we have used video and there was some apprehension. The process could not have been easier. Ro has a calm, unobtrusive approach. He was able to readily put people at ease which resulted in our videos being warm and engaging. He also kept to the schedule we agreed up front which meant no unnecessary waiting around or delays. Ro completely understood what was important and edited down to succinct messages. We are very happy with the results.

Questions

How many staff should we feature?

Three to five people usually gives a good spread of roles without crowding the film.

Can we get individual profiles too?

Yes. One shoot can produce a main film plus a short profile for each person.
